Getting to the Festival
Plan your journey in advance to make the most of your day out.
The Good Food Festival will take place at Goodwood Racecourse, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PS. Open from 10am – 5pm (Fri/Sun) & 5:30pm (Sat)
Goodwood is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.
Travelling to and from the Festival is an important part of your overall experience. Goodwood Racecourse is easily accessible by road and rail.

The quickest way to get to Goodwood from London by train is from London Waterloo to Petersfield with a journey time of 1 hour and 2 minutes. Then, take a 30-minute taxi ride through picturesque countryside.
The nearest station to Goodwood is Chichester. There is a regular service from London Victoria to Chichester, with a minimum journey time of 1 hour and 30 minutes and a taxi ride of around 15 minutes.
A taxi Pick-Up and Drop-Off rank is located at the East Entrance next to the Bus Terminus, just off Selhurst Park road.

From London – Follow the A3 (Junction 10 on the M25) south towards Guildford. About 3 miles past Guildford, at the Milford turning, take the A283 to Petworth, then the A285 to Chichester for about 6 miles.
From the West – Follow the A27 to Chichester. At Chichester, stay on the A27 bypass/ring road. After the only set of traffic lights, take the second exit at the next roundabout signposted Goodwood. At the next roundabout take the second exit.
200 yards after the Goodwood Motor Circuit & Aerodrome entrance, straight over at the roundabout and follow the road up to the Racecourse.
From the East – Follow the A27 to Chichester, exiting at the A285 Junction. When exiting at the A285, continue North and take the second left, signposted New Road. Follow New Road to the next roundabout and take the third exit onto Kennel Hill, which will take you up to the racecourse.
Please turn off your Satnav when approaching Chichester and follow sign postage to Goodwood Racecourse using the major highway. We do ask that you respect the local villages in the surrounding area.
Parking is free of charge and there is no requirement to book in advance.
Standard car parking will be located in car park 8 and car park 9 opposite the eastern entrance of the Gordon Enclosure. Disabled parking will in car park 8 for blue badge holders.
